Molecular Genetics Technology Center

Welcome to THE UCLA MOELCULAR GENETICS TECHNOLOGY CENTER. The center provides a multitude of services to accommodate individual investigator needs in the production of (1) Embryonic stem cell targeting, (2) creation of transgenic mice using pronuclear injection and (3) Targeted genetic alteration animal models derived from ES cells with targeted mutation. The mission of the center is to provide services with high standards of quality control and in a cost-effective manner. The center serves as a source of expertise to investigators in the design and assembly of DNA constructs, on the availability of the transgenic animal models and for the evaluation and implementation of new methodologies as they arise.
